Monrovia City Court Charged Two Persons With Armed Robbery

Two persons this week have been arrested, charged and placed in custody at the Liberia National Police for alleged “criminal offense and armed robbery". The two are David Wilson and Benjamin Karngar of Soul Clinic in the Monrovia suburb of Paynesville were on July 1, 2014 arrested after breaking into the home of Madam Paulina Samuel, 66, a resident of the same community.
Police charge sheet at the Monrovia City Court showed that Wilson and Karngar allegedly stole the victim’s Samsung cell phone valued at US$275 and US$100 cash along with other undisclosed valuables. Criminal offence and armed robbery is in violation of chapter 15. 32 of the Penal Code of the Republic of Liberia. Wilson and Karngar are now awaiting trial, according to the police charge sheet.
