The NEW VISION is published by the international Center for Media studies and Development in west Africa (INCEMSADWA). INCEMSADWA is a Non-for-profit, non partisan and non-governmental independent media Institution formed in the sub region of West Africa by a group of professional journalists in 2004.
The founders of INCEMSADWA include degree holders in Mass Communication, Journalism, Social sciences, Political Science, English, etc. Members of INCEMSADWA are among the best media practitioners in the sub-region who have been acclaimed for their astute journalistic work on critical issues within their country, mainly in areas of transformation, respect for the rule of law, social justice, gender equality, and good governance, among others.It is committed to working in collaboration and in conjunction with professional individuals, organizations and institutions worldwide in order to propagate the necessary, changes for the betterment of the media in the sub-region.

Any person committing to the principles of sound journalism and the promotion and improvement of the greater largest society. To identify and address major problems affecting media institutions in the sub-regional in order those media organizations plays its role as mirror of society.To interpret complex events and issues affecting the smooth operations of the local press and to formulate programs that will enhance the work of the independent media in the entire sub-region.
To adequately educate the population about the role of the independent media and to hold workshops and seminars for media practitioners on a regular basis to help broaden their understanding in the journalism profession.To evaluate the activities of the independent media on a regular basis and give out prizes on monthly basis to media practitioners and institutions whose works have had a great impact on the media institutions and bring about a positive transformation in the society.
To seek assistance, fellowships, and scholarships from individuals of goodwill donors, international media institutions, humanitarian organizations, aids agencies, and friendly nations for the growth and development of the local press.To speak and engage into advocacy against ills and abuses in the society and suggest recommendations for possible remedy to the situation..
