Alphonso Socretes Nimene Wife Laid to Rest

When death has comes and takes away loved one it leaves our home and communities so lonely and dread, forcing tears from our eyes, some time places us in the state of sorrow, pain and uncertainty.

This is the fresh case of a Liberian diplomat and former Assistant foreign Minister for international Affairs, Mr. Alphonso Socretes Nimene who continues to grief the untimely demise of a faithful, caring, lovely, God-fearing and dedicated wife, Mrs. Victoria Nimene who succumbed to the inevitable hands of death on June 3, 2014.

Several friends of Mr. Socretes Nimene say their friend has lost a dedicated and caring wife and mother was always willing to receive visit in her home and treated them with high dignity and courtesies. They also said the death of Victory Nimene have truly reminded us of the words of a song writer when he said: When death has come and take our loved ones…it leaves our homes so lonely and heartbroken…

Mr. Josephus Gray, a friend to Mr. Nimene has described the death of Madam Nimene as an irreparable loss and went on to encourage the bereaved family to take courage and keep the dreams of Madam Nimene alive.

The 32-year of a peaceful co-existence and exemplify married between Mr. and Mrs. Nimene came to an end on June 3, 2014 succumbed to the inevitable hands of death. They are blessed with five children and resided in Chocolate City, Gardnersville.

Meanwhile, the deceased last Saturday was laid to rest following a well attended funeral services held at the Church of Jesus Christ in Jacob Town, Paynesville. Several family members, well-wishers, friends, loved ones and the entire congregation wouldn’t hold back their tears, some wept openly.

The deceased husband, Mr. Nimene formerly served as president of the University of Liberia Student Union (ULSU), Commissioner at the Good Governor Commission (Governance Commission), Assistant Minister for International Organizations Affairs at the Ministry of foreign Affairs, Counsellor at the Embassy of Liberian in.
